Gary Crocker, Chairman:

Mr. Crocker is President of Crocker Ventures, a privately-held early-stage biotech/life science investment firm.  Crocker's multifaceted career includes experience as current chairman of Merrimack Pharmaceuticals; founder and CEO of Research Medical, a leading publicly-traded cardiac surgery company sold to Baster International in 1997; co-founder of TheraTech, a leader in trans-dermal drug delivery technologies sold to Watson Pharmaceuticals in 1999; chariman of ARUP Laboratories, one of the nation's largest diagnostic reference laboratories; principal negotiator of the acquisition of Sorenson Research by Abbott in 1980; and a seven-year board member of the Federal Reserve Branch of San Francisco.  Crocker has been inducted into the University of Utah Science Hall of Fame, serves as a Director of the University's Research Foundation and has been selected as Utah Entrepreneur of the Year by both Ernst & Young and the Mountain West Capital Network.  Crocker Ventures has made investments in a variety of early-stage biotech, diagnostics and medical device companies.  Mr. Crocker earned both his MBA and Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Harvard University.

Dr. Dinesh Patel, Director:

Dr. Dinesh Patel is considered by many to be the father of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals in the Mountain West region.  Dr. Patel is a founding managing director of vSpring Capital.  From 1999 to 2004 he was Founder, Chairman, President & CEO of Ashni Naturaceuticals, Inc., a company that specializes in the research, develpment and marketing of clinically tested and patent-protected natraceutical products.  He currently holds 15 US Patents and Foreign Counterparts.  Prior to vSpring, Dr. Patel was an active angel investor in over 20 biotech and technology companies.  In 1999, Dr. Patel co-founded and was the Chairman of Salus Therapeutics, Inc., a biotechnology company focused on the research and development of nucleic acid-based therapeutics, including antisense and gene therapy drugs.  From 1985-1999 Dr. Patel served as Co-Founder, Chairman, and President of TheraTech, Inc., a biotechnology company which he took public and eventually sold for $350 million to Watson Pharmaceuticals.  Born and raised in Zambia, Africa, Dr. Patel received his bachelor's degree in Pharmacy at Gujarat University located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, his master's degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and his Ph.D. in Physical Pharmacy from the University of Michigan.

Kevin Passey, Director and CEO:

Mr. Passey is currently the President and CEO of Rejuvenation Labs.  Prior to Rejuvenation Labs, from 2001-2007, Mr. Passey was VP of Finace & Operations at 1-800-Patches, a reseller of Health and Beauty products.  From 1999-2001, Mr. Passey was Director of Supplier Relations at TrainSeek.com, an online training and consulting services aggregator.  Mr. Passey earned both his MBA and Bachelor degree in International Studies from Brigham Young University.
